I know this is a repost, but I couldn’t have it buried pages back and having it hidden away gathering dust. Looking around the Interwebs for inspiration and well, anything that will help settle my nerves… The work that’s coming up in the next few weeks is both exciting and nerve wracking, and as such I’ve turned to the internet to provide me with advise from the masters. And what better person to give advise about movie making then Ridley Scott? Director of Blade Runner, Alien, Gladiator and Hannibal (to name but a few)… I was lucky enough to stumble across this Q and A with him and can’t even begin to tell you how good it is.

“Uncharted: Drakes Fortune” is my favorite game this gen. It’s mix of action, adventure and a rock solid everyman, dumb luck hero captured my attention instantly. The game was so cinematic in nature and driven so heavily by a really fun narrative that when the sequel was announced I got a little excited at the prospect of diving back into this universe. After seeing this trailer I would have to say that “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” is my most anticipated game this year.

Just noticed this one from www.themovieblog.com With any new major motion picture there comes with it a slew of lunch boxes, plush toys, books, video games and other associated tie ins so as to drain every last penny from it. X-Men Origins is no exception, but I have to say this would be the worst thought out product I’ve ever seen.

Hi there! There’s been a little delay in posts and that because we’re working on some good stuff for you which is comin’ up real soon.In the mean time here’s just short note about casting. After the positive responses from the first rounds of readings I have sent the script out to one possible lead male and one possible lead female. I have heard back from the female, an old friend of the Wife’s from high school. She liked the script and was interested in meeting with us to talk further. We’re all set to have our first casting meeting tomorrow. I’m a little nervous and this adds to the nervousness that already exists from sending the script to the guy we hope will play Rodney Fickle. My pitch over the phone wasn’t the greatest but I got through it and sent the script earlier this week and we’re waiting now to see if he likes it.

I’m hoping that things go well tomorrow…
